Common questions about how this all works.

What counts as an "enriched address"?

Each unique address you submit for enrichment in a given month — regardless of how many layers you query against it. We don't double-count repeat queries or follow-up calls on the same address within the billing period.

What happens if I exceed my plan's address volume?

On Starter, you can either upgrade to Professional or pay $0.04 per address over your limit. On Professional, you can purchase additional volume blocks or move to Enterprise. We never cut off access mid-month — overage usage gets invoiced and we'll flag it before it scales.

Can I add the energy layer without an annual contract?

Yes — energy is offered month-to-month as an add-on once you're on Professional or Enterprise. The platform fee plus per-listing rate applies regardless of your tier's billing period.

Is there a setup fee for Enterprise?

For most engagements, no — we bundle integration costs into the first-year pricing. For complex MLS integrations or custom data partnerships, there may be a one-time integration fee, which we discuss upfront before any contract.

Do you offer non-profit or board pricing?

MLS and real estate boards typically engage on Enterprise terms with pricing scaled to membership. Our pricing model is built around member-funded budget cycles — flat annual fees, predictable line items, no per-listing surprises.

Can I switch tiers mid-contract?

Upgrades happen anytime — we prorate the difference. Downgrades take effect at the end of your current billing period. No penalty either way.

What about data residency?

All Neighbourly data is hosted in Canadian data centres. We're PIPEDA-compliant by default, and provincial privacy compliance (e.g., Quebec Law 25) is built into our architecture, not bolted on.

Do prices include GST/HST?

Listed prices are exclusive of applicable taxes. Canadian customers will see GST/HST applied based on their province; international customers are typically tax-exempt.
